I have created this blog strictly for reviewing products, services, books, and subscription boxes that I purchase. I will be giving very detailed posts about the products and boxes, how well I like the products, how well they work, and what they are for. I hope my reviews can help you decide on whether or not you, yourself, would like to try out the product, or, warn you if a product/box is less than satisfactory.

I am 21 years young, and work very hard, I am very into woodworking, but I LOVE make-up, clothes, fitness, health, and accessories very much! I’m a girly – girl with some “man” hobbies. I love showing people woman can do a man’s job just as well. Keep in mind, I am no beauty expert, but like most, I can tell if a product is great, good, ok, or just not worth the money. I plan on attending beauty school when I get on track to starting college, that way I can better expand my knowledge, and give you all pointers, and better reviews!

 KETTLE CORN KERN POPS
These kern pops are just 150 calories! At first I only put a single piece into my mouth and thought the taste was very dull, and plain. After that, I grabbed a bunch together, and shoved it in my mouth like a slob, and it tasted a lot better, very yummy! I would recommend this snack, It is definitely good when you combine all the different pieces in this snack together.

CARAMEL APPLE
These are…. ok, and only 80 calories. The caramel is yummy, but the apple wedges, not really a fan of the mushy and soft-ness of them. I think I would love them if they were crunchy, but this snack, I have already trashed it, so that I will never receive it again. Everyone has different taste, so you never know, you might love it! This one unfortunately just isn’t for me.

VANILLA WALNUT FUDGE
This is another snack where I ate just a single piece, and found it to be dull, and gross, with no taste. Then I grabbed a chunk of every piece in this snack variety, shoved it in my mouth like a slob again, and it tasted DELICIOUS! This one is 180 calories, but you can even opt out of snacks that are over your calorie limit! It’s still healthy with vitamins and minerals.

CINNAMON PRETZEL
This snack is all-around amazingly delicious, almost seems too good to believe that this snack is healthy! This one is only 140 calories. I will most definitely be wanting this snack again! I may even just purchase it separately.

Altogether, I am VERY satisfied with this box! This is my first box, and I loved trying new things, the caramel apple dippers are the only ones that I trashed off my profile, so that I will never see them again. They explain all of the ingredients, and nutritional information online for all of their snacks. I would saw the cinnamon pretzels were my complete favorite over all of the snacks I received. I can’t wait until I can order another one. I hope you enjoy yours as well! They give you plenty of time to “trash” any snacks you don’t want before they put together your order and send it out to you. (:

POP BEAUTY EYE SHADOW
Now this product definitely caught my eye the second I opened the box, Never heard of them until BirchBox. It lasts all day long! From the moment I put it on at 12pm, until the moment I did my nightly facial cleansing routine at 10pm. You can purchase this full size portfolio on the BirchBox website for $26.

DAVINES LOVE SMOOTHING SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER

This product is so cute in the little bottle. The shampoo states “Enriched with olive oil and rice protein, this formula smooths frizzed-out and tangle-proned hair.” I have BOTH of these issues with my hair, and I must say I just LOVEE this LOVE shampoo and conditioner. They say the conditioner is “Rich with fatty acids, providing moisture and shine.” I believe that this shampoo and conditioner combo most definitely meets my expectations, and I am very satisfied to have received this in my box, because I’ve never heard of this brand before.

JUICE BEAUTY GREEN APPLE PEEL SENSITIVE
As stated on my card: “An amazingly effective (and gentle!) peel with fruit-derived acids to exfoliate dead skin.” This left my skin feeling amazingly SOFT, even after putting make-up on, I could tell there was a HUGE difference. I’ve always had sensitive skin, so this is a huge plus for me! (and it smells good) Helps a lot so that my face doesn’t become so oily through-out the day. Did I mention it’s also organic? AWESOME! Full size: $33

MALIN + GOETZ GRAPEFRUIT FACE CLEANSER AND FACE MOISTURIZER
This facial cleanser also smells AMAZING, and is definitely a high-end product with high-end results like I’ve never gotten before with all my drug-store cleansers. You can feel how soft and clean your skin is directly after using this product! It assisted great in helping me remove my make-up, and making my face feel nice and refreshed just before bed.  The card states it helps: “Dissolves dirt and oil, clears up breakouts, and balances skins natural pH.”
The Face Moisturizer nourishes your skin with hyaluronic acid and vitamin E. Another product making my skin look beautiful, smells great, made my skin glow, and felt smooth for the day.
Grapefruit Face Cleanser: $32 Face Moisturizer: $45

ENGLISH LAUNDRY EAU DE PARFUM
Just sprayed a whiff of this on my wrist, and I’m in love with the smell! Not too strong at all, but not too soft, it’s JUST PERFECT. I hope I can make this last for a good week or two. Full Size: $32

Altogether, I feel like this box was DEFINITELY made for me! They read my beauty profile LOUD and CLEAR. I love the facial products, and hope to get the FULL-SIZE versions of all of these samples one day. If I had to pick a couple of favorites though, it would be the Juice green apple peel, and the English Laundry perfume. I hope you were all satisfied with my review, and that it is able to help you out with any questions or decisions you have been thinking on with BirchBox.

PLEASE BEWARE, DON’T SHOP AT ROSEGAL.COM!

I have never personally ordered from this website. But I have read MANY complaints from customers about them. The main complaints are:

1. Not getting their order 2. Clothes not looking like they do online 3. Clothes being ripped and torn  4. Sizes being WAY OFF and untrue.

I’ve also seen THIS PAGE advertising RoseGal ALL THE TIME, It’s how I came across them, and unfortunately I think they might be in on the scam. I could be wrong, maybe RoseGal pays them to advertise their site, but I believe this link is how a lot of customers might find them. It’s not just RoseGal they advertise, but they advertise a lot of clothing company’s for a page about Make-up, and Mcafee has warned me about their links when I click on them.

Fragrant Jewel Candles Review

It’s HERE!

Fragrant Jewels is a candle company that you can buy from, and every one of their candles has a ring hidden inside the candle, wrapped in foil, valued anywhere from $10-$25 in the candle. You do get to pick your ring size. Each ring contains a vault code that you then enter in on the website, for a chance to win a ring anywhere from $10-$10,000!! From Their Website: “Only the highest-quality ingredients are distilled into our unique fragrance oils, which are carefully blended with the wax for an unforgettable experience.” They use a Coconut Wax Blend.

Handmade in the USA, from California!

I received my candles exactly 7 days from my purchase date.

Now this is my FIRST ever order from Fragrant Jewels, and I ordered THREE candles for a total of $51.47 and FREE SHIPPING! I used a coupon code I received upon signing up, and had gotten $15.38 off my total order, basically getting one candle for free! (They always have some kind of deal.) The packaging it comes in is actually very cute with the little string and bow wrapped around, and VERY PROTECTED. They did wonderful on packing and keeping the candles safe. The three candles I’ve ordered are all 16 oz.

I warn you though: BEWARE OF THE “VIP MEMBERSHIP,” I entered it to get the Passion Fruit Guava Candle, and for the membership they automatically charge you $24.95 + $7.95 shipping every month. On their website, I’ve found that they have NO LINK or any way to stop and exit out of the membership, and cancel the payment. You have to personally Email them, and spend time waiting until they respond back just to get them to cancel it. I emailed them Sept. 11th at 1:00am in the morning and still haven’t heard back from them, other than that they have gotten my request. I’ll update on how well they work this problem out with me.

UPDATE!: They have officially emailed me back as of Sept. 11th @ 9:41pm notifying me that they have cancelled my VIP membership, and that I will not be charged. I am very satisfied with how quickly they took care of the issue, although I still believe they should have a link on their web page to cancel easier, and faster.

This candle is currently sitting right besides me, lit, and making the room smell DELICIOUS! It has THREE separate flavors. Blue: Blueberry Cobbler White: Vanilla Ice Cream Red: Apple Pie. I have not yet gotten to the ring, I am still burning through the blue wax, and I can tell you one things, these candles can burn for a LONG TIME, I feel like I’ve barely made a dent in getting to my ring, after hours and hours of this candle being lit. At least it smells delicious, HIGHLY recommend this candle. I will update once I have reached my ring. $2 from every one of these candles sold goes towards the AMERICAN WOUNDED WARRIORS PROJECT. So you get a free ring, and help a good cause!

UPDATE!: I have received the ring from this candle, and I LOVE IT! 

  

Isn’t it beautiful? I haven’t been able to find out the value of the ring, or if I won another one, yet, since a couple of letters on the code we’re scratched off. I emailed them at support@fragrantjewels.com for help, I will update on how quick and efficiently they take care of this issue. The ring size I chose is Size 7, I will also update on the value of the ring.

I contacted them yesterday (September 16th @ 7:42pm) and they got back to me today (September 17th at 5:09pm) mentioning that they will be sending me a replacement code. I really hope the code I had wasn’t a winner, and they end up sending me a loser, I’m not sure how this works. I’ll let you know what happens with my code.

 

VIP CANDLE: This was exclusive with VIP MEMBERSHIP, and is not available on their site. The VIP Membership is where they always send you a candle that will never be available on their website, and you have to join VIP Membership to receive it. As I warned up their, beware when joining, unless you want the VIP candle every month, It will always contains a ring with a MINIMUM value of $25. This candle does smell AMAZING though, and I do absolutely love it. It is worth the struggle I’m currently going through to cancel the membership. I have not reached the ring on this candle yet, and will update when I do.

UPDATE: GOT MY VIP RING AND FELL IN LOVE AGAIN!
You can’t blame me can you? It’s BEAUTIFUL! I basically got my VIP candle for free, and got a $25 ring in it as well. I didn’t win another ring with the code(bummer), but at least these ones make me happy. I never wore rings, because I don’t like shopping for them, or spending anything on them, so these candles make it worth it! By creating a fun experience, enjoying your lovely candles smell until you reach your beautiful hidden jewelry.

Tahitian Dream: This is one of their best-selling candles, and there’s definitely a good reason that it is. This candle smells beautiful, and tropical, definitely making me miss the beaches of California. The smell is definitely elegant. Another satisfying candle for me! (: And once again, I will update once I reach the ring inside the candle.

OVERALL: ALL THREE candles smell amazing. I would say my favorite is the AMERICA candle, but the other two are still very satisfying. The ring is just a bonus in my opinion, these candles are very high quality, and worth the price. CHECK BACK SOON TO SEE MY UPDATE WITH THE JEWELRY!

Keratin Instant Reconstructor Shampoo and Condition by Phytorelax

This shampoo and conditioner I have learned, is from Italy. It is selling for around $30-60 on eBay for both, I can’t believe it. I got mine from Ross, at $6.99 each, $13.99 total.

This shampoo states it is; “A special shampoo formulated for damaged, porous and thinning hair which needs to improve the quality of its fiber.” and the  conditioner reads; “A professional conditioner that rebuilds and reinforces the structure of the hair, internally and externally.”

I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for well over a month or two now, and have been BEYOND satisfied. I would say this is officially the BEST shampoo and conditioner treatment I have ever used, or come across so far.

How it works: I almost always leave my hair out to air dry, and then I use my straightener once my hair has dried. With the use of this product, my hair is softer than ever before, and lord knows I have split ends, color damage, and dryness. This product leaves my hair feeling moisturized, smooth, and even looking healthier! This product does exactly as it promises. I constantly run my hands through my soft hair after taking a shower, I’m just in love with how it feels, as a result from using Keratin by Phytorelax.

A++ review from me. 5 stars.
